The Pollard Hotel

Super friendly and helpful staff, nice sitting area with fireplace, room was clean and decent size (especially for an old hotel). Bathroom was very clean. Price was very reasonable. Very minor nitpicks: the room could use another piece of furniture to put luggage on and the bathroom is not vented. Would be happy to stay again when next in town.

We had such a wonderful stay! The front desk was incredibly welcoming and helpful—like a caring mom—recommending great places to eat when we arrived tired and hungry from the road. We felt completely at home and well taken care of. The room was spotless, comfortable, and perfect for a restful night. Thank you for making our stop so easy and relaxing!

We had the best stay at the Pollard! Loved the charm, history and character. Very clean and had everything we needed! Had Marlis for breakfast before hitting the road, it was delicious! Great Red Lodge experience overall. Thanks!!

What a wonderful, charming hotel! I can't say enough great things about this place! This beautifully restored historic hotel has all the charm of a cozy bed and breakfast place, with all the amenities of a 5 star hotel. The lower level has a fitness/workout room that could rival most private clubs, and includes two racquetball courts! Don't miss out on dining at Marli's restaurant. All the breads and pastries are made on site, including their donuts. Try the bacon maple ones! We are planning a trip to Red Lodge again just to stay at the Pollard Hotel again.

Our stay at the Pollard was fantastic! The room has been updated beautifully and was very well appointed and had everything we needed during our stay! The restaurant was great and all of the staff were incredibly friendly. I will stay again anytime I’m in town!!

The best place to stay in Red Lodge. This locally owned historic hotel has great service, modern rooms but keeping with the historical vibe. Very comfortable beds and pillows. My room was a little on the small size, but it didn't feel cramped at all. My room didn't have a closet or ironing board, so if you need those things, best to ask. Support local businesses it really does matter.

What a beautiful hotel! It was our first visit to Montana and Red Lodge was a special destination! I’m THRILLED we chose The Pollard Hotel for its wonderful location, the beautiful rooms, the delicious and convenient Marli’s restaurant and super sweet staff! We appreciated all the historic stories & photos along the corridors & especially in the History Room! Staying here at The Pollard will be an unforgettable memory that I’m so happy to share!

Might just be the best hotel I ever stayed in. This is a historic well-appointed building. Beautiful features, kept meticulously clean, all run by a very courteous staff. Supposedly the building is haunted, but that was fun, too, because it smelled like a steak was being cooked in our room when we arrived. And the hotel does not have steak on their menu. Go figure. Room was sooo comfortable. King bed that made it very hard to get out of bed in the a.m. Coffee in the lobby starting at 0700. While we discuss food, let me say that the attached restaurant, Marli's, in the hotel (open to the public) is absolutely amazing. Beautiful old bar with lots of mirrors and old wood. It's kind of like having a cocktail in a museum. Best "bistro" food in Red Lodge, get their Eggs Benedict - none better anywhere. Big shout out to Trish or Trisha, the manager. Also, Gigi checked us in late in the afternoon, and was a wealth of information about the town and things to do while we were in Red Lodge. So, thanks a lot ladies. You made Red Lodge a great visit. My wife won't stop talking about how much she liked it your hotel. Highest recommendation.
